The story is set in December of 2199, when the streets are full of anticipation for the end of the year and the start of the new one. Amid the celebrations, word spreads that Ragna the Bloodedge, an SS-class rebel with the highest ever bounty on his head, has appeared in the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi. The apparent aim of Ragna or the “Grim Reaper” is the destruction of the system controlling the world. To collect the bounty, a motley array of unrivaled fighters converge on Kagutsuchi.

9. Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova

Again, coming at no. 9 is Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova. This anime is fairly good series to watch if you’ve got nothing else to watch. Also, The brief summary for this series is as follows.

By 2039, global warming had caused sea levels to rise and large amount of territory to be lost. As though in response, a mysterious group of warships clad in mist, “the Fleet of Mist,” appeared in every corner of the ocean, and began attacking human ships. In spite of humanity mustering all their strength, they were utterly defeated by the Mist’s overwhelming force. All of humanity’s trade routes were blockaded by the Fleet of Mist, their political economy was destroyed, and the human race was steadily beaten down. Seven years later, the Fleet of Mist’s submarine I-401 appears before cadet Gunzo Chihaya. The humanoid life form that pilots the sub, who should be their enemy, is instead offering her services to mankind.

8. Asura Cryin’

Now, coming at no. 8 is Asura Cryin. This anime is not so popular but it is still worth watching. Also, the brief summary for the series is as follows.

Natsume Tomoharu is a normal high-school student in every way with one exception: he’s being followed by the ghost of his best friend, Misao.

After moving into his brother’s old house, Tomoharu expects to continue living his normal life but is one day left with a mysterious and locked briefcase without any instruction. At first he plans to leave it in storage; however, his house is soon invaded by multiple groups of people after the briefcase. Although still not knowing the purpose of the briefcase, Tomoharu and Misao attempt to escape with it.

From there on, Tomoharu tries to learn the secrets behind the briefcase, the connections between it and Misao, and why it has the power to change the world.

7. Akiba’s Trip The Animation

Now, coming at no. 7 is Akiba’s Trip The Animation. This anime is for those people don’t want to go to deep in the story line but just want to enjoy a show. Also, the brief summary for the series is as follows.

Otaku siblings Tamotsu and Niwaka Denkigai are shopping in Akihabara when it is overrun by vampiric cosplaying monsters! These creatures, known as “Bugged Ones,” can possess anyone they bite and soon they begin causing mayhem across the city. As Tamotsu finds himself at the mercy of one of these creatures, he is rescued by the mysterious baseball bat-wielding Matome Mayonaka. Together, they fight through several more encounters with the Bugged Ones, but before long, Tamotsu is fatally wounded protecting Matome. With no other choice, she revives him as a high level Bugged One—just like her!

Tamotsu and Matome, along with excitable otaku cosplayer Arisa Ahokainen, make up the group “The Electric Mayonnaise” and they begin dispatching the Bugged Ones in the only way they know how: by ripping off their clothes and exposing them to sunlight!

6. Air Gear

Now, coming at no. 6 is Air Gear. Although, it is a fairly old anime, it is still an entertaining show. Also, the brief summary for the series is as follows.

Minami Itsuki never thought about seriously riding Air Treck motorized roller blades, until he got his butt handed to him by a street gang of Storm Riders. That day, he discovered in a locked up room, a pair of AT’s and a box of stickers belonging to the Sleeping Forest street gang. One thing leads to another, and Ikki dons the wheels and begins to ride. As his reputation builds in the AT street fighting/racing world, he begins to develop his own gang and participate in more fights, gaining more and more territory.

5. A.I.C.O.: Incarnation

Now, coming at no. 5 is A.I.C.O.: Incarnation. It is a Netflix Original Series. Although, it is a fairly new series, I think it’s not getting enough attention it deserves. Also, the brief summary for the series is as follows.

Set in the near future in Japan, year 2035. A major incident was known as “Burst” which was caused by researching artificial life. A certain AI called “Matter” has eroded the Kurobe Gorge. Entering the research city, which has been called as humanity’s last hope, has been prohibited by the government.

Two years later, Aiko Tachibana, a 15-year-old girl who lost her family from the incident, was told by a transfer student named Yuuya Kanzaki the truth that Aiko didn’t know regarding a secret hidden within her body. The key to solve the mystery is said to be in the Primary Point, the center of Burst. When a boy and a girl, who bears the future of humanity, meet, what will be the new truth?

4. Atom: The Beginning

Now, coming at no. 4 is Atom: The Beginning. This is a good series worth watching. But, this show is not so popular as one would expect. Nevertheless, It is still worth watching this show. Also, the brief summary for the series is as follows.

Japan in the near future suffers an unexplained major disaster. Five years later, reconstruction is well underway. Two young researchers at a university are pinning all their hopes on robot development. Now their new interpretation of the eternal hero Astro Boy up until his birth is just about to start!

3. Triage X

Now, coming at no. 3 is Triage X. This is a really good action anime worth watching. Personally, I like the characters and the anime as a whole. Therefore, i would definitely recommend this to people who wants to watch an action anime with badass protagonist. Also, the brief summary for the series is as follows.

In a deadly terrorist attack, Arashi Mikami narrowly escapes death but loses everything in the process, including his family and best friend. However, the surgeon that rescues him is far from just an ordinary doctor—he commands a strike team known as Black Label whose task is to exterminate deadly criminals who have fallen too far. Filled with a new determination, Arashi joins the ranks of the vigilante organization.

Black Label’s targets are aplenty, as evil scum lurks everywhere—dangerous arms dealers, corrupt politicians, and shady gangsters all find themselves hunted by the extermination team. Although haunted by their dark and sinister past, all of the hunters are highly skilled at slaying their targets. In spite of the perilous lives the members live, Arashi and the gorgeous ladies surrounding him still manage to get caught up in a variety of sultry moments and racy hijinks.

Though they face strong opposition, nothing can stop Black Label’s objective of cleansing the world of ghastly evil.

Now, coming at no. 2 is Arslan Senki (TV). If you’re a fan of historical anime then you should definitely check this out. This series is good despite being unpopular. Therefore, i would definetely recommend you to watch it. Also, the brief summary for the series is as follows.

The year is 320. Under the rule of the belligerent King Andragoras III, the Kingdom of Pars is at war with the neighboring empire, Lusitania. Though different from his father in many aspects, Arslan, the young prince, sets out to prove his valor on the battlefield for the very first time. Finally, coming at no. 1 is 91 Days. This is an amazing show despite not being so popular. Therefore, i would definitely recommend you to watch this show if you haven’t already. Also, the brief summary for the series is as follows.

As a child living in the town of Lawless, Angelo Lagusa has witnessed a tragedy: his parents and younger brother have been mercilessly slaughtered by the Vanetti mafia family. Losing everything he holds dear, he leaves both his name and hometown behind, adopting the new identity of Avilio Bruno.

Seven years later, Avilio finally has his chance for revenge when he receives a mysterious letter prompting him to return to Lawless. Obliging, he soon encounters the Vanetti don’s son, Nero, and seeks to befriend him using the skills he has quietly honed for years.

Set during the Prohibition era, 91 Days tells the story of Avilio’s dark, bloodstained path to vengeance, as he slowly ends each of the men involved in the killing of his family.
